So, Rex, Kai, AND Alex are now out.

Which is why I’m sure it’s a film reference. Because of that film the first one killed is often the most suspicious.

Kaya doesn’t have the poker face to pull off an imposter run. At least not solo. Cleo has pretty much mastered the stoic deadpan and Benji is clever and can improvise. Though I gotta say my money’s on Kaya for leveraging the fact she’d be taken at face value.
Well, ain’t this an awkward predictament. you’re looking at 2 Master Manipulators and a Dragon who can’t charm most folks or a Paperbag.
Never played this game, so I have some questions. Did they have enough players for there to be two imposters, and is there a game mode that randomizes the number of imposters and hides that number from crew members?
Yes, they started off with enough players to have two impostors. Kaya, Kai, Nate, Benji, Cleo, Rex, and Alex makes seven, which is the low threshold for having two impostors.
No, the number of impostors is not randomized, nor hidden from the other players. The number of impostors in the lobby is chosen by the lobby-maker, and announced at the start of the round.
Well, there goes my “Benji and Kai are both impostors” theory. One thing I forgot about Gamer Dragons: it doesn’t HAVE to be accurate to the original game if it’s funny.
That said, even under actual Among Us rules, it IS possible for none of them to the the impostor and everyone else to be dead… or disconnected. For instance, if Alex was the impostor, and he killed Nate, Benji, and Kai, then his connection got cut off, he would leave the game. But all the players get a ping when some gets disconnected, and the impostor being disconnected automatically gives the win to someone else.
Also, major kudos on the last panel, the thumbnail for the link from the main comic was hilarious.
Given that the game is still going, there’s likely only one imposter. If the living imposters ever match or outnumber the living crewmates, the imposters win.
Plot twist: they’ve actually been playing Dead by Daylight the whole time and someone loaded in a really weird mod.
I just realized how much the ‘real’ game characters look like little, ambulatory thumbs. 🙂
I think everyone may be missing the obvious. The butler did it. After all, people do have a tendency to overlook the servants. 🙂

He’s a really loyal butler.

It can’t be Kai if he’s doing electrical because the impostor can’t do any tasks. (also why is there a duck in the wires isn’t that a safety hazard?)
Impostor can pretend to do tasks though.

Maybe it’s Jin Nakamura I mean he’s smol bean so it wouldn’t be unusual for us not to see him at the table
Will we ever get an answer to this?
I assume that the answer was plotted out by the Author before this story arc even began…
…so when will we get the rest of the story?
