Yes, this happens at the very beginning of the game, without asking the logical questions of how a mafia guy survives in space like that xD
Kaya always asks the important questions.
Game: A Hat In Time
(Go play it if you liked games like Banjo Kazoe, Spyro and Sly Raccoon, you won’t regret it!)

The mob in this game is almost as bad as student loan people.
You forget a question , Kaya :
“- How someone is able to stay close of a spaceship with full speed ?” 0_o
[Panther]: the answer is “he CAN’T” — that’s most likely a hologram that’s triangulated upon (& broadcasting thru) your ship’s com-system. It’s programmed to pester you mercilessly until you pay-up.
Come to think of it, this would also explain how you hear it talk from a region of vacuum — the speakers in the com-system are tweaking their output to make it SEEM as though sound is coming from that direction, both the words & the (simulated) pounding on the ship’s hull. The lack of communication-lag is explained by having the hologram up-loaded to the ship’s computer, like a virus. Once you pay their fee, the “virus” will broadcast this news back to the Mafia-Town’s base-computer, which confirms the transaction went thru successfully by sending a coded command which instructs the “virus” to uninstall itself.
Seems a fine theory …… Just have to explain the “bonk” sounds ^_^”
I thought I *did* — on 2017/11/28, at 07:14, above…?
You call it “bonk”-sounds…
…I called it “…the (simulated) pounding on the ship’s hull.”
I think the ‘virus’ is messing with her head, by adjusting the speaker-output, making it SEEM as though the pounding (& the voice) is coming from a particular place on the hull.
No, I’m pretty sure the answer is “by matching the speed precisely”. Played enough StarMade (minecraft in space, greatly recommended) to know.
But my theory explains the ability to synchronize its response to her spontaneously-timed talking.
Kaya got Steampunk’d.
I haven’t heard of that game before.
Physics and “a hat in time” do not come together much.
Good he’s just knocking … compare with the girl here: https://youtu.be/HpZgoIgj6-M?t=2m45s
(Of course, SHE’S robot or something.)
you mean sly cooper…?
Hoo, boy can’t wait for Kaya to experience that ONE mission
i see what you did there (4th panel)
